TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1: 290 miles

Arriving at the Euro tunnel terminal the excitement mounts as you board the train for an early morning crossing to Calais. With no need to leave the bike unattended or even secure it the tunnel really is the fastest and most efficient way to travel to the continent.

Following a quick transit south to clear the industrial areas of northern France and Belgium you take to the quiet back roads of Belgium and Luxembourg. Your destination for the first night is a hotel located in the Moselle-Saar-Ruwer region of Germany.

Day 2: 230 miles
The terrain and landscapes begin to change as you head through the Pfalzer and Saar Hunsruck National Parks. It is no wonder that this area is a favourite with local bikers as the almost traffic free roads twist and turn for miles through the forest. Taking to the motorway system you pass the cities of Karlsruhe and Stuttgart before arriving at your next hotel which is a traditional 15th Century building in the centre of the picturesque and cultural town of Blaubeuren.

Day 3: 250 miles
The Alpine regions now beckon as your journey takes you into Austria via the Fernpass and onward into Italy via the famous Timmelsjoch Pass. Rising over 2500 metres the views are simply amazing. As you enter the Dolomites you instantly understand what makes this area so special. With vertical pinnacles of rock, sheer cliffs and long valleys the Dolomites really contain some of the most striking mountain landscapes anywhere in Europe. Your hotel for the next three nights is one of the most popular biker hotels in the area and is equipped with indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and underground bike parking.

Day 4 & 5: 87 to 180 miles
Ride or rest days.
All the main passes of the area are now on your door step and our supplied routes and suggested ride-outs include the Passo di Giau, San Pellegrino, and Passo di Falzarego as well as a route to the beautiful Lake Garda.

Day 6: 185 miles
With your time in the Dolomites now at an end it is time to head north and rise to the challenge of the mighty Stelvio Pass. At a height of 2758 metres and with 48 hairpin bends taking you to the summit this really is a must do for any motorcyclist. If however you prefer a more leisurely approach to your holiday an alternative more relaxed route is available.  A wonderful hotel awaits you in Austria equipped with swimming pool, sauna, steam room and underground parking.

Day 7: 230 miles
Some great biking roads still lay ahead as you cross the River Rhein and enter the Black Forest region of Germany. Dependent on availability your biker friendly hotel will either be in a village or a small town. All our hotels in the Black Forest are traditional family run hotels and all are ideally located for you to enjoy everything this stunning area has to offer.

NOTE:
Our small town location does have more restaurants and bars to choose from therefore if you do have a preference of hotel locations please make a note on your booking form.

Day 8: 245 miles
For many motorcyclists the Black Forest is famous for one thing: the Schwarzwald Hochstrasse or B500 and today you will ride a long sweeping section of this impressive road. Crossing back into France your journey continues through the Vosges Du Nord National Park and the twisty traffic free roads of the Forest d’Orval before arriving at your final hotel in the unspoiled town of Bouillon. Located on the banks of the Semois River and overlooked by the imposing Castle of Godefroid this is the perfect setting to sit back and relax and reflect on the last few days.

Day 9: 225 miles
Following breakfast your onward journey winds along the meandering Semois and Meuse rivers before entering Belgium and the motorway system back to Calais and your return Euro Tunnel crossing back to Folkestone. Euro Tunnel times are flexible and can be changed to suit individual requirements.
